Operations Manager - David Fair


David brings to the business 20 years in managing international development projects. David has extensive experience in managing the tendering and delivery of projects in Cambodia, China (incl Tibet AR), Indonesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nauru, Pacific (Regional), PNG, Palestinian AT, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. Infrastructure projects including; reconstruction housing, schools, hospital refurbishment and water and sanitation. Covering key development areas of education, primary health care, HIV/AIDS, safer blood, organisational development, capacity development and disaster risk reduction.

David started at Reeves in 2008 as a Senior Project Manager. Prior to joining Reeves, David was Operations Manager at International Development Support Services (at Aurecon), and has undertaken consulting inputs for program evaluations, project management training and disaster risk reduction reviews. Previously working with the Australian Red Cross as a Regional Coordinator for NE and SE Asia, and Country Manager in Sri Lanka to lead the recovery and reconstruction following the 2004 Tsunami. He is contracted as a Community Development Specialist under the DFAT 'Aid Advisory Standing Offer'.

David has been a guest lecturer for Monash University Master Degree in International Development and Environment (lecturing in capacity building and logical frameworks). David has a Bachelor of Public Policy and Management (University of Melbourne). Holder of Distinguished Service Medal (Red Cross) and Humanitarian Overseas Service Medal (Australian Government).
